Terms of use
House rules.
Nothing exotic here: use the site in good faith, do not steal the work, and understand that a website is not a contract. The specifics follow.
// Effective: 16 July 2026
Agreement
By using maidaan.org, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, the close-tab button has never judged anyone.
What this site is
This website exists to explain what Maidaan does and to let you get in touch. Content here is general information about our services, not professional advice, and not an offer capable of acceptance. Actual client engagements are governed by separate written agreements, which is where the real terms live.
Our content
The text, design, graphics, and branding on this site belong to Maidaan unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to read, share, and link to it. You may not copy it wholesale, pass it off as your own, or use the Maidaan name and branding to imply a relationship that does not exist. If it feels like something you would not want done to your work, do not do it to ours.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload the site
- Do not use the contact form to send spam, malware, or anything unlawful
- Do not scrape the site for purposes that would make a privacy lawyer sigh
Third-party links
The site links to external destinations such as founder portfolios and Instagram. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Judge each on its own merits, as you would a buffet.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we make no guarantees that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or immune to the general chaos of the internet.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maidaan is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, always lives on this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
