Questions and answers
Ten, to start.
Occasionally with jokes. The lawyers were not consulted.
Maidaan helps companies define their positioning and turn it into identity, content, campaigns, and marketing systems. An engagement can cover one part of that or the full programme, depending on the problem.
Yes, Maidaan is a founder-led agency with a small client roster. We can lead a defined project, work alongside your internal team, or support an ongoing programme. The founders stay involved in the strategy and key decisions, not just the kickoff call.
Reasonable. The company is new. The people running it are not: two decades of combined experience building brands, pipelines, and marketing functions from scratch inside B2B companies. Being early works for you too: you get the senior people on the work, not a junior team wearing our logo.
Side projects built after work, neighbourhood boutiques and salons, founders building personal brands, startups, growing companies, and enterprises ready to be talked about again. Industry-agnostic, geography-agnostic, size-agnostic. The one filter: you have to actually want to stand out. Sounds obvious. Isn’t.
A maidaan is an open field or public ground. We chose the name because it suggests visible competition, collaboration, and being judged by what you bring. There’s a whole page about it. Obviously.
Most start as a scoped project: positioning, identity, a launch, a rebuild. The scope, timeline, and measures are agreed in writing. Some projects extend into ongoing work when both sides see the value in continuing.
Only if you want us to. We can lead the whole scope, or take responsibility for one defined gap. At the start, we agree roles and hand-offs so your internal team and any other partners can work from the same brief.
Every engagement is scoped to the brand and the goal. No rate card, because nothing here is off the shelf. The first conversation is free and usually tells both sides whether it is a fit within twenty minutes. We would rather lose a project than force one.
Usually within a couple of weeks of the first call, depending on scope and availability. We keep the client roster deliberately small, which means less waiting and more attention.
Pune, India, with work spanning India, North America, the UK, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. We agree working hours, meeting cadence, and response times at the start of each engagement.
