We collect the information you submit through our forms, limited attribution data stored in your browser, and analytics data only when you consent. We use it to respond, operate the site, and understand performance. We do not sell personal information.

Contact-form data is processed by Formspree and delivered to Maidaan. Site analytics are processed by Google only after consent. Netlify hosts the website and maintains server logs.

Who we are

Maidaan ("we", "us") is a brand growth partnership based in Pune, India, and operates maidaan.org. For privacy questions or requests, email talktomaidaan@gmail.com. We check and answer that inbox ourselves.

What we collect

Information you provide. Contact and collaboration forms may collect your name, email address, company or project, selected service or collaboration type, links, and the message you submit. We do not use data-broker enrichment or hidden profiling.

Spam-prevention data. The forms record the approximate time between page load and submission, and include a hidden honeypot field. We use these signals only to identify automated spam.

Attribution data. When a link contains campaign parameters, we may store the source, medium, campaign, landing page, and referring page in your browser for up to 90 days. We use this to understand which Maidaan campaigns lead to enquiries. We do not use it to build a cross-site profile.

Analytics data. If you consent, Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, engagement, approximate location, device and browser type, and campaign attribution. Microsoft Clarity, also gated behind the same consent, records session behaviour such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement to help us see where a page is confusing. Analytics does not load before consent. See the Cookies section for controls.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Who processes it

We use service providers including Formspree for form delivery, Google Analytics for consented analytics, Microsoft Clarity for consented session-behaviour analytics (heatmaps and session recordings), and Netlify for hosting and server logs. Each processes data under its own terms and data-processing arrangements.

Cookies

We ask for consent before loading Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. If you decline, both remain disabled. We store your consent choice in your browser. We also use local storage for first-touch campaign attribution and the referring page, for up to 90 days.

You can reset your analytics choice using the button below, delete browser storage in your settings, or use Google's own Analytics opt-out tool. The site remains usable if you decline analytics.

How long we keep it

Contact enquiries are retained for as long as the relationship is active, plus a reasonable period after, unless a longer period is needed for a contract, legal obligation, or dispute. Analytics data is retained according to the window set in our Google Analytics account, currently 14 months; email us if you want the exact current setting. Browser-based campaign attribution expires automatically after 90 days. You may request deletion sooner where applicable.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the EU’s GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or restrict processing of personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a regulator. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
